Co-pro Iceberg

As an organisation we are always thinking about how to capture, share and sustain the collective specialist knowledge, skills and relationships developed through our work for the long term, whilst working in an often underfunded and temporary charity landscape. Complex community work like ours that is built on a lot of ‘soft’ skills is often undervalued and underestimated within traditional institutions or conventional paradigms. We have put together this illustration to remind us all of the essential contribution and capacity that community organisations bring to projects, and the unseen foundations that must be recognised and funded to allow for community co-production and participatory co-research to continue.
